Dash founder Kevin Wilson will meet the man who inspired him to devise The Dash in Lichfield in July 1998 – Chariots of Fire film producer Lord David Puttnam when he visits the city to give the first ever Lichfield Festival Lecture on Monday July 11th at 7pm before a special 30th Anniversary screening of the film takes place outdoors in the Chapter Gardens at 9.30pm.

Kevin will be presenting Lord Puttman with a special gift donated by Arthur Price Ltd the gift and cutlery manufacturers of Lichfield and Kevin is thrilled to be able to give Lord Puttnam such a memorable gift to mark the special occasion:

Simon Price, the Chief Executive of Arthur Price really wanted to make sure that the gift would remind Lord Puttnam of his link to the city by giving Kevin the inspiration to create an event that truly is unique to this city, and our gift is also very special and unique too, and we are happy that Lord Puttnam will remember his visit to Lichfield in 2011.
