On a perfect day for running with fine autumnal sunshine and little breeze, the 400 plus field, up on 2011, started in Castle Grounds with a large crowd in attendance and took in a circuit of the Grounds before heading for Peelers Way before heading onto a short and picturesque stretch of the Birmingham Fazeley Canal and then emerging on the Fazeley Rd to follow that road back to Ventura Park and then back into Castle Grounds for a second circuit of a course that all of the runners were complimentary about.
