Results – 13th March 2016 – Fradley 10K

The Spring sun shone brightly at the Florette Fradley 10k and record crowds as well as a bumper field took to the streets of Fradley Village North of Lichfield to make the day special for all who turned out to watch or run.

The race was won by James Fletcher (Notts AC) in 34:32 with one time previous winner Phil Clamp (Tipton Harriers) in second in 35:05 and Chris Neil (Barrow Runners) third in 35:17.

First female athlete home was Rachel Olivant (Derby RC) with Sarah Dauncey from the local Lichfield RC second (39:01) and Kelly Weall (Notts AC) third (39:58).

Niki Webster, Marketing Manager at Florette, comments: “Once again Florette has been proud to sponsor this feel good event which never fails to deliver a fun atmosphere for the local community. There was a real buzz around the course this year and we’d like to congratulate everyone who took part and made this year’s event bigger and better than ever.”

WIPRO 5k run 2013

News – WIPRO 5K Run – Solihull


This autumn KP Events organised the first ever SPIRIT OF WIPRO 5k Run in Malvern Park Solihull.

This annual event is held on the same day all over the world for Wipro’s employees and partners. Wipro are one of the worlds leading IT Services and Consultancy providers with Head Offices in India, UK Head Office Reading and with major partners in Solihull such as National Grid and Xoserve. KP Events hosted the 5k run for approx 300 Wipro staff and friends.

Kevin Wilson of KP Events was delighted with how the event went: “ Everyone had a lovely day in a beautiful park, there were lots of children in the 2k run which was fantastic and the 5k went very well and raised money for Cancer Research too. We hope to be back again in 2014.”

Royal Sutton AC athlete Nick Corker lead a record field of nearly 900 athletes home last Sunday (March 11th) in the FLORETTE FRADLEY 10K. Corker set a fast pace from the start and was always in the front two as he and Ashley Hurdman were together at the end of the first lap but Corker then eased away to win in a time of 32:37 with Hurdman second in 33:20 and Richard Whitelegg of Hinckley AC in 3rd at 33:32. First woman home was Long Eaton RC’s Sarah Harris in 35:36 finishing a very creditable 16th overall and she was followed by Derby AC athlete Rachel Olivant in 38:08 with Foxy Dawson 3rd in 38:13. In the Florette Fradley Junior 2k, the race was won by Harry Whitelake in 8:02, first girl home was Lucy Harris in 8:30.

Event – Birmingham Insurance Institute Charity Fun Run – 16th July 2011

Help raise money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Take part in the 2011 BII charity fun run – 10k, 5k or 2k, in July, in Sutton Park.

KP Events is working with the Birmingham Insurance Institute Young Members Committee to help them establish this annual event as a key fund raiser for a very good local cause.

Register online here and select Birmingham Insurance Institute in the drop down menu and then select either 10k, 5k or 2k childrens walk in the race drop down menu.

Closing date for entries is 10th July 2011.

James Trollop of Birchfield Harriers won the Florette Fradley 10k today. The 2010 winner romped home but was hampered in his valiant attempt to break the course record by runners completing the first lap of the 2 lap route as a record turn out also caused the start to be delayed by 15 minutes.
