The Tamworth 10k Oct 13th 2013
We reintroduced the Tamworth 10k with a new scenic route in October 2011 to many complimentary comments about how good the new route was. This year’s race will start and finish in the beautiful grounds surrounding Tamworth Castle and will wind its way through the grounds out into the town, then follow a canal section in Fazeley, before returning to the Castle Grounds. More info coming soon.

The date agreed with Tamworth Borough Council is Sunday October 14th 2012 for the 2012 Tamworth 10k. We reintroduced the race with a new scenic route in October 2011 to many complimentary comments about how good the new route was. You can now register for this event.
The race will start and finish in the beautiful grounds surrounding Tamworth Castle and will wind its way through the grounds out into the town before following a section along the canal in Fazeley before returning to the Castle Grounds. KP Events have worked closely with Tamworth Borough Council in bringing this race back to the town. Race start time is 10.30am. The start area is near the Pavilion.

THE TAMWORTH 10k IS BACK, BIGGER AND BETTER!!
The date agreed with Tamworth Borough Council is Sunday October 16th 2011. The race will start and finish in the beautiful grounds surrounding Tamworth Castle.
This is a traffic-free route along the parks and cycle paths around this lovely South Staffordshire town.
Tuesday August 23 saw the official launch in the grounds of Tamworth Castle of the TAMWORTH 10k 2011.
The Lord Mayor of Tamworth is pictured with Paul (left) and Kevin (right) from KP Events at the launch.
KP Events have worked closely with Tamworth Borough Council (the Sponsors) in bringing this race back to the town (last run in 2007).
Check out Tamworth on Wheels – BMX and Skateboard shop in Tamworth. They’ve been helping us with the Tamworth 10k 2011.
