Sponsored by Florette

James Trollop of Birchfield Harriers won the Florette Fradley 10k today. James TrollopTROLLOP TRIUMPHS IN FRADLEY ROMP

Local athlete and Birchfield Harrier James Trollop (pictured left) found the windy conditions to his liking in the Florette Fradley 10k held in Fradley Village near Lichfield on 14th March 2010.

The always popular event had attracted a large field of runners from all over the UK and was sponsored for the first time by Fradley company Florette – the UK’s leading bagged salad specialists, ensuring plenty of spectators were on hand to sample the free samples handed out!

Trollop (18) from Lichfield, headed the field from the start and gradually increased his lead throughout the race to finish in a very creditable 30mins 48 secs, second man home was Coventry Godiva runner Richard Burman in 32.31secs, with Meynell Valley Hunters Tri Club’s Ashley Hurdman third in 33.28.
